Dependable and Dedicated

Dependability and Dedication are two virtues that are rare these days.
My dad was a great example to me of both.
He was dependable.
We could depend on him to make breakfast every Sunday before church.
We could depend on him to take us to Ocean City the same year every summer for vacation.
We could depend on him to call home every night when he worked the night shift.
He was dedicated.
He was dedicated to one spouse his whole life-my mom.
He was dedicated to one career his whole life-operating a printing press.
He was dedicated to one hobby-marching with the Baltimore Colts Marching Band
(He even marched with a portable oxygen tank after he developed COPD!)
Make sure that the loved ones who depend on you are taken care of after your marching days are done.
I would be honored if you would depend on me to help you.
